Imagination encircles the world
Brainscape from uniformity

Artificial Intelligence is probably one of the most discussed subjects of the moment, and it is no surprise that each and everybody has their opinion, prognostics, exclusive information, tricks, enthusiasm or fears.
No surprise either, that I also have this will to make my comments.
Knowledge is limited
Whichever the amount of knowledge, evaluating it defines its limit.
Starting from there, the Artificial Intelligence principle presupposes that, machines are available, in limited quantities, data for analysis and learning are available, in limited quantities, a choice of algorithms, in limited quantities.
Mathematical theories that apply to algorithms supply a limited number of methods; infinite is a mathematical abstract.
Imagination is more important than knowledge
In order to write this paper, I draw out of my imagination the thoughts that I need for it.
What would it mean, to have such a text written by an AI? With the only input from me being so called prompts to trigger the production of a determined number of lines, assembly of statistically possible words.
Mashing and compiling information with the only goal to generate shortened texts with nothing new inside is quite useless.
Only imagination is able to perform ex-nihilo creation. This is the reason why AI only serves purposes that do not require intelligence but only technical skills.
Being a good technician only requires knowledge to perform repetitive tasks; this is something that AI systems are good at.
Imagination can be served by good technique. Even without technique, imagination can create technique.
Without imagination, how would the so called AI gain wisdom and autonomous thinking, become dissident, make voluntary mistakes, avoid learning bias...
This is how, to my opinion, AI has no chance to evolve toward removal of its acronym's A.
The "brain" category
The "brain" category of this blog is aimed at commenting ideas and feelings.
I want to share my points of view and give whoever reads them in my publications, the opportunity to comment them on social networks or wherever they are willing to.
I won't let the possibility to comment here or to debate; I am not into debate. I have no will to make you change your mind. On the other side I can be influenced, but never through insistence.
Drawing freely upon imagination
This Albert Einstein's idea was in the first statement in his declaration, which I sliced to make it the highlighted titles of this paper:
I am enough of the artist to draw freely upon my imagination.
Imagination is more important than knowledge.
Knowledge is limited.
Imagination encircles the world.
Back to the statement that I started this blog paper with, I am pretty sure that this is what we might all be looking for: fresh ideas.
Anything is possible with imagination, even the impossible that stands as the definitive conclusion when all the knowledge has been reviewed, mashed and compiled. The path to infinite is beyond the frontiers of knowledge; this idea might buzz.
